Well, it's back to work today. Took a couple days off to spend with Henry the first days of Spring break. Just caught up on the work stuff and getting him ready to go to his Mom's for the rest of the week. We had a good few days and were able to fit a couple of special things in as well.
Monday we went to Mt Vernon to see some of the tulips although not too many out yet but we brought a few cut ones home to sprice up the place. It was an overcast day and not many flowers to see except @ the Roozengarde display gardens but we had fun lookint at those all the same.
Yesterday we worked a bit around the house and then went hiking @ Saint Edwards State Park over in Bothell. We walked down to the lake and after playing around a bit, Henry fell and broke his arm and I lost my cell phone so we hiked back out and spent the rest of the day @ the Doctor. It was a buckle fracture which I take to be relatively minor as fractures go and quite common in children. He is in a splint and will probably go into a cast later this week for a couple weeks. We don't know if it happened during that fall or another spill he took from his skateboard on Sunday @ his cousin's Bday party but we do know that the fall yesterday at least exacerbated it enough to mean no jumping around and no hard playing for a little while. Here are some photos from yesterday
